Memorable Moment - Competing in 1990 ad "The Model," Rick Martel was the most arrogant figure in WWE. To prove it, he would always carry a large mister of cologne that he called "Arrogance." During an episode of The Snake Pit with Jake "The Snake" Roberts in October 1990, Martel began spraying his cologne around Damien, Robert's python. When Jake objected, Martel sprayed him with the cologne, blinding him in one eye. Martel later claimed it was an accident, while at the same time teasing Roberts about his blindness. the incident instigated a rivalry that culminated in a Blindfold Match at WrestleMania VII. With both competitors unable to see, the match provided an equal playing field which lef to Roberts exciting a measure of revenge on Martel.
